In detail, thermal imagery revealed the intense rotation of Hurricane Milton, accompanied by strong winds exceeding 270 km per hour, leading to waves reaching heights of over 10 meters.
In response, US President Joe Biden issued an urgent call for immediate evacuation from areas that will be hit by Hurricane Milton and for taking all necessary measures to confront the storm's power.
Biden stated, "This is a matter of life and death, and I am not exaggerating. You need to evacuate immediately, right now, and leave Florida."
The US National Hurricane Center stated that Hurricane Milton will be large and dangerous upon reaching the west-central coast of Florida today, Wednesday.
